On October 3rd, together with the Italian Association Confindustria Alberghi, we held the webinar “Large Online Platforms and Hotel Operators: What Changes After the New EU Regulations. OTAs in the Sights of the European Legislator”.
The EU finally addresses the issue of large platforms – including OTAs – and focuses on the complex relationship between these and “business users”, who sell products and services through them, such as hotels.
We analyzed what these measures provide for and what impact they may have on the relationship between OTAs and operators in the hotel sector.
