Decree no. 55 of 11 March 2022 of the Ministry of Economy and Finance has been published in the Official Gazette no. 121 of 25 May 2022, concerning the communication, access and consultation of data and information relating to the beneficial ownership of enterprises with legal personality, private legal entities, trusts producing effects relevant for tax purposes and legal institutions similar to trusts. This decree shall enter into force on 9 June 2022 and subsequently the items and amounts of the Chamber of Commerce secretarial fees for the activities related to the establishment of the autonomous section and the special section of the Business Register and access thereto shall be identified, modified and updated by MiSE-MEF decree.
For communications on beneficial ownership, the unified business communication model is used, the technical specifications of which, in relation to the electronic format, shall be adopted by a management decree of MiSE which shall enter into force within 60 days from the date of entry into force of this decree. Furthermore, within the same period, the MiSE is required to publish the measure certifying the operational status of the system for communicating data and information on beneficial ownership.
