On Friday, May 20th, the first meeting of the GPD Advisory Board was held.
The initiative is aimed at promoting strategic reflection on professional development and the evolution of legal services business towards internationalization, multidisciplinarity, and excellence.
The selection of Board Members was conducted on the basis of a search for leaders in their respective sectors who could contribute to the vision, analysis, and dialogue with the market, new challenges, growth, and positioning of the Firm.
The members of the Advisory Board are:

– Paolo Fresco – former Chairman, FIAT
– Luca Mignini – former Chief Operating Officer, Campbell’s Soup Company
– Stefan Wenaweser – Partner, Marxer & Partner
– Luca Liberali – Partner, Adon Capital
– Giorgio Berta – Partner, BNC
– Jessica Martini – former Head of Control & Compliance, Citibank
The project is to be understood as an inclusive initiative to engage the professionals of the Firm in reconsidering the practice of law in light of the executive experience, diversity of background, and market knowledge of the Advisory Board members.
This is an unprecedented initiative in the Italian legal industry, inspired by the best practices of major global law firms that have already decided to avail themselves of an external and independent advisory board for their strategic growth.
