Troutman Pepper Counsels Best Practices Medical Partners in Investment by Kilter Finance

PHILADELPHIA – Troutman Pepper advised client, Best Practices Medical Partners (BPMP), a medical liability insurance firm, in securing $40 million in funding from London-based finance group Kilter Finance. Read Kilter Finance’s press release about the investment.

This investment will help BPMP to increase the statutory surplus of its subsidiary, Applied Medico-Legal Solutions Risk Retention Group (AMS RRG), a physician risk retention group that provides medical liability insurance. The partnership also will accelerate the growth of BPMP’s medical professional liability insurance business and enable execution upon other strategic initiatives.
