Antonio Volanti

Managing Associate

Antonio was admitted to the Rome Bar in 1994 and is licensed to practice before the higher courts. His practice focuses on litigation in the areas of corporate, banking, contractual and corporate crisis law. Antonio is a trustee in bankruptcy at the Court of Rome and Tivoli and is a trusted lawyer of judicial administrations and bankruptcy receiverships. He is registered in the National Register of Judicial Administrators - Section of experts in business management. He is a member of arbitration panels called to settle disputes in commercial matters. He also coordinates the department of GDP's Rome office which deals with the assistance of the National Agency for the Administration and Destination of Seizure and Confiscation of Assets from Organized Crime (ANBSC) for major anti-mafia confiscation procedures and bankruptcy receiverships at the Court of Rome and Tivoli. Between 2008 and 2011 he was secretary of the National Council of the Italian Young Lawyers Association, representing, in this role, several times the Association in hearings before parliamentary committees and in conferences. He works in Italian and English.
Antonio has been adjunct professor of the course "Law of derivatives and financial transactions" in the Department of Law of Economy and Productive Activities of the University La Sapienza of Rome. He is the scientific deputy responsible of the course on "The judicial administration of assets subject to anti-mafia prevention measures" within the Master of II level in "Business Crisis Law" of the University La Sapienza of Rome. He has been responsible for the organization of the Master of II level in "The new rules for intermediaries, issuers and financial markets" of the University La Sapienza of Rome. He regularly holds conferences and seminars in universities, at professional bodies and associations and is the author of papers and essays.
Antonio graduated with honors from the University La Sapienza of Rome in 1991, in 1998 he attended the specialization course in "Banking and Financial Markets Policy and Legislation" at the University La Sapienza of Rome, in 1999 he graduated with honors from the "School of Civil Law" at the University of Camerino, in 2005 he obtained a PhD in "Contract Law and Business Economics".
